The tourney is growing quickly, and I'm looking forward to it. Please start booking your rooms, as the JFK 50K race is the same weekend. The first games will be played at 8:30am, so plan accordingly. When we book the first hotel solid, let me know and I'll add more.
The Clarion Inn Conference Center will be our host hotel for the tournament, and it's attached to Barefoot Bernies. They have 40 rooms blocked at $79 per night, and will be adding more as they become available. You have to call to get the lower rate (301-733-5100), and being a hotel guest gets you into Cancun Cantina (which is doing dance music on Saturdays now) free. Let me know when they run out of rooms, since I have a backup hotel on standby.
Here's our roll call. Please, if you plan to play, let me know. I can only provide a team list if you keep me in the loop with your intentions. The list below is based on conversations I've had and website/Facebook postings, and I think there are more that haven't announced yet. The teams in bold have paid.
